“I think that one thing that I learned is that hard work will pay off. Work hard and take pride in everything that you do and you will be better off at the end of the day.”

During his time at Robert Morris, Alumnus Kevin McDonald played baseball and completed both a bachelor degree in business with a concentration in accounting and masters degree in business with a concentration in accounting and finance.

Today, McDonald is an accountant at J&B Electric and an assistant baseball coach at RMU. He will start working as a tax associate at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in July.

In five years, he hopes to continue to be working at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a senior associate or as a manager.

McDonald believes that his biggest accomplishment so far has been making Academic All American for baseball his senior year at Robert Morris.

Like most Robert Morris graduates, McDonald uses what he learned at school constantly in the workforce.

“I use all of the knowledge from my classes on a daily basis,” he said. “The knowledge I gained in school helped me pass the CPA test and helps me with my work on a daily basis.”

If there was one thing Kevin McDonald learned while attending Robert Morris it was to always work hard.

“I think that one thing that I learned is that hard work will pay off. Work hard and take pride in everything that you do and you will be better off at the end of the day.”

When not spending time at work, McDonald likes to watch sports with friends. One of his interests is traveling to different sports stadiums throughout the country.
